On Thursday 21 May Creativefife held what is to become their annual Celebration. An audiance of over 80 Fife creatives enjoyed a informative fun evening in the Rothes Halls Glenrothes where they met old friends and were introduced to many new ones.
The speakers for the evening were Aileen Lamden, Executive Director of Adam Smith College, Tricia Marwick MSP, Stuart Dell, Susan Arnott and David Cruikshanks. All spoke of the importance of the creative industries to Fife's and Scotland's economy, with Aileen outlining future business improvement initiatives, particularly for the creative industries, through the College's European Project,'Skills for Scotland'. Stuart gave an update of what Creativefife had acheived over the previous year and updated the audiance of some of the initiatives planned for the coming year. Susan and David spoke of what being a member of Creativefife had done for them.
A number of businesses took up the invitation to exhibit at the event to showcase their creativity and this proved extremely successful.
